Environmental Standard Gas and Summa Canisters
A type of air sampling canister specified by US EPA air monitoring regulations for collecting and storing VOC gases (Volatile Organic Compounds). The inner surface of the canister is passivated to ensure the stability of components during storage. The valve typically uses high-quality, metal-to-metal sealing, stainless steel diaphragm 2/3-turn valves. Both the valve and transfer lines often feature heating functions to eliminate sample retention.
Dimensions: 6.2”(H) × 4”(W) × 3”(D), approximately 1.13 kg (2.5 lbs). The X-CAN (equivalent to Summa canister) is used for collecting air samples and complies with the US EPA TO-14A and TO-15 methods for the collection, storage, and analysis of volatile organic compounds using specially treated sampling canisters.
